Black Triangle Closure

What are Black Triangles?

Black triangles are the small dark spaces that can appear between teeth near the gumline when the gum tissue no longer completely fills the area between the teeth. They can develop for a variety of reasons, including gum recession, bone loss, tooth shape, orthodontic movement, or natural aging. While black triangles are common, they can make teeth appear older, create cosmetic concerns, and may even trap food more easily.

These visible gaps can trap plaque and tartar!

How do you fix black triangles?

One minimally invasive way to treat black triangles is with the Bioclear Method. Using specially designed matrices and durable composite material, Bioclear allows us to carefully reshape the teeth and close these spaces without removing healthy tooth structure. This approach can improve the appearance of your smile while also making it easier to keep the area clean—often in just one visit.
